About the Program

The Champions Assisting Teammates (CATs) Fund was created to support members of the University of Arizona Aquatics community who are facing financial needs or unexpected challenges.

Established by the Class of 2026, the fund reflects the belief that the Arizona aquatics family continues to support its athletes and staff beyond their years of competition. The lessons learned in the pool—discipline, resilience, and community—extend far beyond the water.

Through this fund, Bear Down Aquatics aims to provide meaningful assistance when members of our community need it most. Because the fund is supported through donations, assistance may vary based on available resources.

BEAR DOWN AQUATICS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONS ASSISTING TEAMMATES (CATs) GRANT APPLICATION

The Bear Down Aquatics Alumni Association (BDAAA) provides ﬁnancial assistance to members of the University of Arizona Aquatics community experiencing ﬁnancial hardship.

To be considered for assistance, please complete the following application and submit any supporting information that may help the committee understand your request.
